Every summer, we have a small family reunion on the Strip in Las Vegas. The past summers, I've taken the airplane, but in 2013, I'd like to try to drive. I can depart Vancouver June 11, 12, or 13. I can depart Vegas June 24, 25, or 26. For "Vancouver to Vegas", Google Maps gives these 2 routes as options (http://goo.gl/maps/MMJZ3) : 1) I-84E (Vancouver, Seattle, Yakima, Boise, Twin Falls, Vegas) 2) I-5S and Veterans Memorias Highway (Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Eugene, Klamath Falls, Reno, Vegas) I'm open to taking whichever route my passengers will be on. Whichever route we take, I'd like to split the trip into 2 days. Should we take the "I-84E" route, we will rest overnight in Boise, Idaho. If we take Portland-Reno route, I'd like to overnight at Klamath Falls. Each will be responsible for his own overnight accommodation. For the sake of the other passengers, no smoking allowed in the car. You may smoke when we have our breaks (gas fill-up, stretching, bathroom, food). The car is a roomy 4-door sedan with a spacious trunk.
