UCSD FACULTY AND STAFF: Post a new ride on Zimride between April 1 - 30, and be automatically entered for a chance to win one of two $50 MasterCard gift cards from Zimride by Enterprise. Be a part of the solution and make every day Earth Day! Carpooling can not only save time, money, and reduce stress, it can also reduce your carbon footprint.
By joining a carpool you can split the costs, save the environment and reduce your stress. Let Zimride help you search for your carpool match today.
Track your commuting patterns using our handy Commute Calendar. It not only tracks what form of transportation you are using but how many pounds of CO2 emissions and money you are saving. If you are looking for a commute partner, use Zimride to post and find a commute going your way.
Zimride is a fun and easy way to share the seats in your car or catch a ride. With Zimride, you can find UC San Diego friends, classmates, and coworkers going the same way you are. More than 12,000 UCSD rideshare postings have been made securely since 2010.
Zimride is the private rideshare community for UC San Diego. Zimride requires a UC San Diego PID / email and password to gain access.
UC San Diego Zimride helps you offer or request rides for commutes, road trips, and popular events. If you have a car split costs by offering rides. If you do not have a car find rides where you need to go.
When adding a ride, you can decide if you would like to share your ride with:
1) Only UC San Diego
2) UC San Diego + "Trusted Partners"
If you decide to share a ride with someone in the UC San Diego network, we suggest you also ask who else will be joining the ride. If you only wish to share a ride with a member of the UC San Diego network, please confirm that the ride poster has not shared his or her ride with someone from any place that can be viewed outside the UC San Diego network (i.e. bulletin boards, craigslist). Carpool matching services can be of assistance to those who want to form or expand a carpool. Participants are solely responsible for determining whether or when it is appropriate to meet with or share personal information with a potential carpool partner.
